Japanese Gardens

Hello, Brent here.
During the summer, I often try to get out to places that are hard to visit during the regular school year. I really enjoy spending a few hours in a park, either in the morning or in the late afternoon. On hot days, traditional Japanese parks feel a little cooler than everywhere else. And there are many beautiful parks around Tokyo. When was the last time you went for a walk in the East Gardens at the Imperial Palace or Hamarikyu or Shinjuku Gyoen?
Have you ever been to some of the other famous gardens? Have you ever been to Rikugien? Or Koishikawa Korakuen? How about Kiyosumi or Mukojima Hyakkaen? Or even Tonogayato?
Have you taken your family there?
Learn some history, try some Japanese culture. And say hello to the many foreign visitors you will bump into at the parks.
Enjoy your summer!

8/10 Brent
