Black Friday

Hello everyone,

Last week JC Sensei wrote about the American Thanksgiving. Today I will bring up the day after Thanksgiving. This day is called Black Friday.
Do you know about Black Friday?

This is the day after Thanksgiving and it is a major shopping day. People all over the US go out and do some serious shopping. The stores have really big sales with big discounts. Some people are starting their Christmas shopping on this day. Others just want to get something for themselves.

But sometimes things get out of hand. If you want to see what that means, try searching for [Black Friday out of hand] on the internet. Remember, this isn't everybody. It is only the special cases but it sure gets in the news. And it helped to create the next special day - Cyber Monday.

I will explain about that one next week.

その神社は銅造鳥居と八幡宮のクロマツで有名な足利八幡宮（下野國一社　八幡宮）ですが、ココではなくてその境内にある神社です。　＜KK押忍＞

またまたJR東日本が仕掛けて来ましたよ！「シンカリオン・スタンプラリー(11/7～12/6)」新幹線変形ロボ"シンカリオン"なのだそうです。３つのエリアから１つずつスタンプを集めるだけなので、興味のあるチビッコ達簡単ですよ！　11/20(k.h)

今週の月曜日に野暮用で山梨にお邪魔しました!!
お昼ご飯にホウトウを食べました。
メッチャうまい。うまいメッチャですわ。野菜も甘いしスープもうまい。

又すぐに食べたいな・・・

Later this month is Thanksgiving in the US! It is a celebration of when some of the first Europeans came to America for a better life. Every 3rd Thursday in November, American families get together and eat traditional foods such as turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs and more. There is always a lot of left over food, so then everyone eats turkey sandwiches for the next several days. It is not just about food though, it is also a great time for family members who have not met in a while to meet and have quality together.
