Snow is coming?

It sure has gotten cold recently, hasn't it?

I was excited to see a little snow last weekend. Some places had a lot of snow. I don't know if you like snow but it is interesting to talk about it. Did you know that there are many ways to talk about snow?

We can have a little bit of snow and we call that by names like: flurries or a dusting of snow.
We can have rainy snow and we call that: sleet and wet snow.
And there other names, such as frost and hail and more.
And a serious one (which happens a lot in places like Canada) is a snowstorm called a blizzard.

Many times, in places like Canada, snow is not that bad. It is usually the cold that is more dangerous to people. But I know snow can be quite dangerous here too, so please be careful if it does snow!
