Summer activities

Hello everyone!

Summer is almost finished, isn't it? I hope you're having a chance to enjoy the last few days. As a teacher at Seiritsu, there is always lots happening. Today we are testing out a new online English service.

Tomorrow, for the zebra English after school program, we will be making ice cream with the kids. Give us a call if you want to join in for that special lesson on Friday. It starts at 3 o'clock for younger kids and 4:30pm for older students.

処暑

暦では、暑さがおさまるころと言われていますが、まだまだ暑いですよね。
もうすぐ秋。食べ物のおいしい季節です。秋茄子もその一つです。

中学生が応援に！

８月２４日(土)～２５日(日)で「ゼブラの夏季合宿(館山)」が行われました！２５日には、成立中学生が応援に来てくれました。本当にありがたいし頼もしいと感じました(^^)/

本物のお城です

山形から群馬に移動してロックハート城に行きました。 イギリスに建てられたお城を6年かけて移築したもので、映画やドラマの撮影などにもよく使われているようです。 群馬の山の中にあるのでアクセスは少々不便ですが、それが古城の雰囲気に合っていました。

Keeping cool in the summer heat

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your summer. The children will soon be back in school. So I am sure they are worried about their last few days of play and also their homework. I have a suggestion for beating the heat and also keeping the kids happy. How about spending time in the ice age and learning about the dinosaurs? It might even fit into the 自由研究 requirements for their summer homework.
There is a special dinosaur show at the science museum in Ueno.
We went the other day and really enjoyed the different exhibits. And after the dinosaur area we toured around the rest of the museum for a little while. You can easily spend a whole day there.

我が家の近くの田んぼに飾ってある案山子たちです。今年度の「案山子コンテスト」に出品された案山子たちです。東京オリンピックのマスコットやピカチュウがいたりで、楽しいコンテストですね～!(^^)!　8/20(k.h)
