Hello everyone,


I have been writing about ESP lately but we will take a short break this week as I give you a little notice about an upcoming event. We will return to the ESP topic in the next few weeks.


We will be doing something fun for the current Zebra English club kids in March. We had two months of online lessons and a break for winter so it has been almost 3 months since we have been in the classroom together. So we want to spend some time playing in English and using it together.


Can you guess what we will do with these?
Can you do any of these activities?
Can your family members do any of them?
How about you challenge them over the spring break?
And then challenge them to do it in English too!

春なので

今年の桜開花は、3月17日～19日頃らしいです。そんな予測が出ている、今は沈丁花が匂います。この香りを感じると春です。そして花粉も同じく感じます。対策していますか？

加納治五郎！

ここは「加納後楽農園跡」です！柔道の創設者加納治五郎が作った農園なのです。
本来は学園を作る予定でしたが、学園の設置が出来ず結果的に農園としたそうですよ。

お肌の味方です

肌荒れしやすいので、ちょっとしたトラブルにはティーツリーのオイルを愛用しています。
殺菌作用もあるので、ちょっとした引っ掻き傷などに塗り込んでおくと、翌日には痛みが引く優れものです。
(あくまで個人の使用感ですが)
今ですと花粉症のせいで鼻の下がヒリヒリする時に活躍してくれています。

鷲宮グランドに春の香りが漂ってきました。
サッカーだけでなく季節の移り変わりが分かるグランドになってます♪

History

We have started talking about adding English into our lives in other unique ways, or for special purposes (ESP). One option is based on your children's interests.
Lots of young people get into history stories and books. You can teach them some of the words before going into a museum or historical location. You can give them challenging worksheets like pages found in the book in the picture.
They will quickly remember words related to castles, swords, and battles.
When they find these words in games and movies, it will just reinforce the benefits of learning a bit in English as they learn about their interests.

平均気温

暖かったり、寒かったりを繰り返して春に近づいております。2月10日から昨日までの最高気温の平均は14,7度。最低は5.2度でした。その前一週間、2月3日から9日までですと、最高気温の平均は12.7度、最低は2.4度と確実に上がっております。

今日は天気もよく最高気温は13度。週末はついに20度を超え、月曜日は21度となるようです。

来ました！

今年も来ました(+o+) 花粉症の症状が今週から出てきました！コロナ禍で大変な思いをしているのに、休むことなく花粉はやってくのですね～。花粉症の皆さん(^^)/コロナ同様しっかりと準備をしてこの３ヶ月間戦って行きましょう!(^^)!　写真は花粉症用のメガネ・マスク・内服薬・目薬です！(k.h)

国は違えど

水出し緑茶ボトルを使うようになってから茶葉の消費量が格段に増えたため、もう少し大きめの茶筒を買いました。
明治から続く缶の製造と販売を行う江東堂さんがイタリアの老舗紙メーカーとコラボしたフローレンス缶。
国は違えど、老舗同士がコラボするとこんなにも洗練されたものになるんですね。
用途を選ばず使えそうです。


実際、ひとつは茶葉用で、もうひとつはコーヒー粉を入れています。
