Open school for clubs 2021
Hello everyone,
It will be a busy weekend for the school. We have our annual open school for club experiences on Saturday and then our junior high open school event on Sunday.
The deadline for participating has already passed. If you managed to sign up, we look forward to seeing you!
If your children are still too young, we hope to see you at future events!

真夏日
曇ったり、雨が降ったりしていますが真夏の天気が続いております。
台風の上陸気になります。あらゆる場所でゲリラ豪雨の可能性があるので、日ごろからハザードマップは確認しておきましょう。
改めて思ったこと。自国開催スポーツは真夜中に行われないのが、とてもいいです。
蓮の花(^^)v
しまった～(+o+) 蓮の花は夕方には花びらが閉じていました！夏の花として親しみ深い植物ですよね！草本性の水生植物で、日本にも古い時代に中国から渡来し、奈良時代にはすでに"観蓮会"が催されていた記録があるようです。(k.h)

花瓶に入れる際に高さ調整で切り取った茎は、かぶるくらいの水に浸けておくと、このように芽が出てきます。
一日一回〜二回の水換えは必要ですが、もう少したら鉢に植え替えられます。
The Olympics are starting
Hello everyone,
We wanted to make sure the children had good memories of the Olympics so we had some fun lessons about sports and events and all the flags and such.
Can you say lots of the country names? How about saying the nationalities (ie: Japanese, American, etc)? And do you know the names of the languages they speak?
Challenge yourself and your kids. Try to learn a bunch of the words during the Olympics this year!

オリンピック始まりました
ソフトボールのオープニングラウンドが、9時から始まり、コールド勝ちしました！
対戦相手はオーストラリア！
ついに..オリンピックが始まりました。1年ほど遅れはしましたが。

先日掲載しました"リュウゼツラン"の続編です！正式には「アオノリュウゼツラン」との事で、メキシコ原産で、数十年かけて一度だけ咲いた後、枯れてしまうそうです。しかし、１ヶ月ほどは咲いているそうです。お酒の"テキーラ"の原料としても有名です。
この場所は朝日新聞に掲載されたため、現在は観光スポットとなっており連日にわかカメラマンで一杯となっております＼(^o^)／ (k.h)
ドラセナ水栽培 その1
発表会の時に頂いた花束の中に赤いドラセナが入っており、葉の生え方からティーリーフと同じやり方でイケるかなと思い、挿木からの鉢植えに挑戦してみました。
まずは成長点のある葉の部分を2本、毎日水を取り換えて様子を見ました。
半月ほどで根が出始めひと月ちょっと。かなり根っこが増えました。

Preparing for the Olympics
Hello everyone,
With the Olympics only a week away, we are teaching our students the names of the countries in English so they can know the names when they watch some of the events. We are also talking about sports and some related vocabulary. Most people know the names for the fist two medals (first and second), but they often forget the word for the third place medal. Do you remember the third place medal name?
