Bastille Day!
On this day, July 14th, the France celebrates Bastille Day. This day marks the end of monarchy and the beginning of the French Revolution.
France was led by a King and Queen, who did not think about the people. France had the largest population in Europe and not nearly enough food to feed it. The wealthy and growing bourgeoisie (the middle-class, merchants, and businessmen) were allowed no political input or power. The poor were in a bad situation and it was getting worse.
On July 14, 1789 the masses banded together and stormed the Bastille prison, a symbol of the corrupt political system. This began the Revolution.
In France, most people celebrate Bastille Day with dances and brilliant displays of fireworks. The day that follows is filled with parades, bands, and good times.
二度目の梅雨入り
2022年の梅雨はあっという間に明けて、身体にまとわりつくような熱気の真夏が瞬く間に広がりました。
この暑さが9月まで続くのは大変だ！電力需要が上がり電力のひっ迫もありました。
ところが
急激な天候変化。梅雨の戻り？いやいやそもそもまだ梅雨は明けておらず、ほんの一時だけ真夏になっただけ！なんてことも言われています。
予報を見ますとまだまだ、はっきりとしない天気が続きそうです。
蓮の花(^^)/
この頃やっと近所の池で"蓮の花"を見かけるようになって来ました。日照時間が６～８時間程ないと咲かないそうです。
花の季節以外は、その存在に気付きづらい沼地から、梅雨の時期にすっと花茎を出し、夏の日差しの中でとても綺麗で大きな一輪の花を咲かせる姿は、他の花々とは明らかに異質で神秘的な感じがします(^^)/
癒しの時間
例年より梅雨明けが早かったせいか、我が家の花壇の紫陽花が次々と萎れていく中、アナベルという種類だけは元気に咲き続けています。
緑から白、そして最終形態の緑になったところでカットして、レイを作りました。
もう少し細めにすればよかったのですが、これはボリュームの出る編み方なので、次は別の編み方で作りたいと思います。
忙中閑ありで癒しの時間を作り、心身をリラックスさせています。
ドイツ旅 ワイン工場
本日は、ドイツと言えばビールですが、ワインも絶品です！！赤ワイン・白ワイン・ロゼと種類も豊富で、地域ごとに売っているものも違く、その地域のワインを愛しているイメージですね(^^♪この写真はモーゼル地域のワイン屋さんの写真です。
ドイツに行った際は、ワインも飲んでみてはどうでしょう(*^^)v

This week we will talk a little more about parental controls.
There is a good chance that you use Internet Explorer for your browser, as it comes standard on most computers. The good news is that if you are using Internet Explorer, which has the blue colored e icon, it is easy for you to set parental controls.
Under the Tools menu, you can find the Internet Options area. Going to the "Content" tab, you should find a heading of "Content Advisor" and some other choices. If you are using the new Microsoft Edge, the settings are called Family Safety.
If you are not using Internet Explorer, but rather another browser, like FireFox, you should be able to find easy directions on Google for whichever browser you are using and be able to take similar steps to block potentially harmful or dangerous content from your internet-using child.

ウソっ！何で？
というような記録的な暑さに日本列島が茹った先週。
ところが今週に入り雨～曇りの天気が続いています。楽と言えば楽なのですけどね。北区は週末にかけて晴れ間が広がりますけど、来週になるとまた雲が多めとなるようです。
2022年も残り半年となりました。
もうすぐ七夕(^^♪
もうすぐ七夕ですね！ショッピングモールに飾られていた笹に沢山の子供達が書いた短冊が下げられていました。欲しい物や夢等沢山書いてあるんでしょうね(^_-)-☆ 天気が心配です！
