Soccer/Football vocabulary

Hello everyone,
Last week I shared some vocabulary for basketball words. Our school teams have been winning so it was a good lead in. This week I will be sharing soccer words. One of the reasons is because one of our alumni (OB) from Australia, Connor O'Toole, played with the Australian U23 team and they qualified for the Olympics. We hope to see Connor in Tokyo in the summer!

We know many of you will want to watch some soccer during the Olympics so here are a few words you will need to know:

To score a goal (ゴールを決める）
Counterattack　（逆襲ーぎゃくしゅう）
Foul (ファール）
First half (前半）
Linesmen (線審)
