Singing songs

If you go out on a long car drive, or are stuck at home and don't want the TV on non-stop, using songs can be a good way to build up English skills. It is good for kids and adults. Getting our mouths and minds to move at a faster speed is good for us. And song lyrics are often easy to remember.


One of the most popular kids' songs brands is Wee Sing. You can find old videos of their lessons (from a long time ago) on YouTube as well. But you do not need YouTube. The Wee Sing CDs usually come with song lyric sheets and, if you buy in Japan, they often have the Japanese translations or helpful guides included.


Kids love the songs. And the songs will often stick in your head and you will be humming or singing them all day. It is a good thing and a bad thing. Ha ha.
