Shooting game

Hello everyone,

Here is another idea for some fun at home with your kids. It can be used to help teach something as well.

Set up some paper cups and use elastic bands to shoot the cups. Knock over the cups and get points or letters. Who gets more points? Who can spell a word?
Use bigger numbers for practicing math. Use hiragana for younger kids and see what words they can make (例え：た+は+な＝はた、たな、はな、など）.
Even older kids can be challenged. Write groups/topics on the cups and the older kids have to make a sentence or story (in Japanese or English) with those word groups. For example: If they knock over 3 cups with these topics on them (買う、動物、形容詞) they can make a sentence with those words. I want to buy a small cat. I bought a cute hamster.
Use your imagination and have fun (or make their studying fun).
