Endangered Species Awareness Day

Tomorrow, May 20th, is Endangered Animals Awareness Day. It is a day set aside to remind us of all the species of animals facing extinction - almost all of them because of human activity. Currently there are over 41,000 endangered species in the world and the number increases every year. Diversity in the animal world help keep our world's ecosystem stable - we must continue to be aware and do what we can to protect them.
