January is time to Whale Watch

January is the beginning of the yearly migration of the world famous humpback whales. The humpback whales leave their winter feeding grounds in the Arctic and travel very long distances to the warmer waters near Mexico and Hawaii, where they breed, give birth, and begin to raise their young. The best places to see them are off the coasts of Hawaii, California and Mexico.
